Osteomyelitis of maxillofacial region is uncommon, among which mandible is more common than
maxilla. Maxillary osteomyelitis is rare, as maxilla being a cancellous bone with significant collateral blood flow and scarce
medullary tissue. We hereby report a case of maxillary osteomyelitis with different symptomatology & its management.
The patient had an uneventful recovery. When Maxillary osteomyelitis is present, there is possibility of malignancy or
granulomatous disease and it should be ruled out.
